End of Support for Older Operating Systems/Browsers (effective May 2018)

March 6, 2018 2:27 am / admin

To comply with evolving Internet security standards and industry requirements, and in alignment with the support policies of the various web browser software vendors, we are changing our minimum system requirements effective 1 May 2018.

Please note specifically that this change discontinues support for Windows Vista and all versions of Internet Explorer prior to 11. If you are still using these older operating systems or browsers, you may no longer be able to access the website as of 1 May 2018.

Please see below for the updated system requirements:

Supported Web Browsers

  • Google Chrome 60 or newer*
  • Mozilla Firefox 52 or newer*†
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 11
  • Microsoft Edge 14 or newer*
  • Opera 34 or newer*
  • Apple Safari 11 or newer

* For web browsers with a rapid release cycle, including Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and Opera, please use the latest supported version from the browser manufacturer.

† At this time, we do not recommend using Mozilla Firefox when completing IAQG Delta assessments and retakes, due to the issue described previously in this post. Changes to the website coming in 2018 will eliminate this issue.

Supported Operating Systems

  • Windows 7 or newer
  • Apple MacOS X 10.11 or newer
  • Distributions of Linux that support the aforementioned browsers

Additional Requirements:

  • Adobe Flash Player 27.0.0.187 or newer** on Windows, MacOS, and Linux
  • Adobe Reader DC or newer on Windows and Macintosh, or other compatible PDF viewer software (to view/print certificates and invoices)
  • Your monitor must support a resolution of at least 1024 pixels wide, and at least 720 pixels tall. On small/low-resolution monitors, we recommend running the browser in full-screen mode.
  • Your browser must accept “cookies” to complete the registration process.

** While the website will continue to function on many older versions of Adobe Flash Player from version 11 on, prior versions contain security vulnerabilities. To protect the safety of your computer while using the site, we recommend always upgrading to the latest version of Adobe Flash Player.

NOTE: Some firewall software has been known to interfere with connectivity to this website. If you experience trouble connecting, but can still connect to other Internet sites, please try disabling the firewall software, or adding the iaqgtraining.com domain to the firewall’s exception list.

9100:2016 Series Delta Training Update as of 2 June 2017

June 6, 2017 6:14 pm / admin

June 15, 2017 marks a very important date for the Aviation, Space and Defense certification scheme. In accordance with Supplemental Rule SR-003, all new 9100, 9110 and 9120 audits are to be conducted to the new standards.

The IAQG OPMT wanted to provide an update on the status of auditor transition and the actions taken to assist the auditor population in successfully completing the transition.

In addition to the communications and activities conducted by the certification bodies, the IAQG OPMT has initiated various communications in an attempt to ensure successful completion of the transition activities.

Two recent communications that auditors may find helpful include the following materials:

  • Information titled “Guidance and Recommendations for Assessments” section has been added to the IAQG Training FAQ site. This information identifies general steps that auditors may take to be better prepared to complete the online training and assessments required for 9100:2016; 9110:2016 and/or 9120:2016. This material is accessible at the following web address: https://www.iaqgtraining.com/view/faq.
  • A webinar specific to 9120:2016 from an auditor perspective has been recorded and available for replay on the IAQG Requirements webpage. This may be accessed at the following web address: https://www.sae.org/iaqg/organization/9120.htm. In this webinar, Dale Gordon, International Document Representative and subject matter expert for 9120, provides details on specific changes to 9120:2016. He provides this information from the perspective of the author.

Auditors are also encouraged to review the deployment support materials that have been developed by the IAQG Requirements Team and available at: https://www.sae.org/iaqg/organization/requirements.htm#oversight.

In addition, as a result of a request from the Independent International Organisation for Certification (IIOC), the OPMT has eliminated the maximum number of retakes and reduced the wait period between retakes to 24 hours. These changes were implemented on May 18, 2017.

These changes apply to all 9100:2016 series auditor training assessments, including the:

  • ISO 9001:2015 Pre-Assessment
  • 9100:2016 Forms and Audit Reporting Assessment
  • 9110:2016 Forms and Audit Reporting Assessment
  • 9120:2016 Forms and Audit Reporting Assessment

The goal of the IAQG OPMT is to provide an effective and convenient approach for currently authenticated auditors to complete the required training while also ensuring effective audits and audit reporting. We continue to monitor the results and take actions to ensure that our goals and the goals of the various interested parties are achieved as effectively and efficiently as possible.

9100:2016 Series Delta Training Update as of 24 March 2017

March 30, 2017 3:43 pm / admin

The following communication is intended to provide an update on:

  • Current training status for the 9100:2016 series of auditor training;
  • Remind auditors to notify and provide sufficient information to their respective Auditor Authentication Body to enable their status to be upgraded in OASIS; and
  • Remind auditors of the criticality of having their auditor status updated in OASIS prior to June 15, 2017;
  • OPMT actions

CURRENT TRAINING STATUS:

With the launch of the 9110:2016 training modules in French, German, Italian and Spanish on March 22, 2017; all training, in all agreed languages are  now available.

The following summarizes the completion status for 9100:2016; 9110:2016 and 9120:2016 as of March 19, 2017.

Program Total Purchases Successful Completions (Certificates Issued)
9100:2016 1068 596
9110:2016 75 25
9120:2016 180 61

The OPMT continues to monitor the above ratio of Total Purchases to Successful Completions in order to gage training progress, effectiveness and auditor resources. Auditors are encouraged to be diligent in their efforts to complete this training as soon as possible.

It is recommended that auditors that have successfully completed the AATT course and are interested in taking the training modules reference the IAQG OASIS email that was sent out on January 13, 2017 for early lessons learned and key take-a-ways that may assist in preparing for these courses. Auditors may access the IAQG Training site at https://www.iaqgtraining.com/store/offers-delta for information on purchasing these courses.

13 January 2017 9100:2016 Bridge Training Update

UPGRADING AUDITOR AUTHENTICATION:

Once  the auditor has successfully completed the 9100:2016, 9110:2016 or the 9120:2016 module(s) it is critical that he/she provides evidence of successful completion of the required sanctioned transition training to the Auditor Authentication Body (AAB) responsible for their existing authentication, in accordance with SR-003 paragraph 6b. This will allow the AAB to upgrade the auditor’s status in OASIS and qualify the Auditor to complete audits to the updated standard(s).

NOTE: If you already passed the program and sent this evidence to your AAB, no further action is required.

CRITICAL DATE APPROACHING – JUNE 15, 2017:

In accordance with SR-003, no initial, surveillance or recertification audits shall be started to the previous versions of the AQMS standards after June 15, 2017. Auditors that have not been authenticated to the new standard by the June 15 date will no longer be qualified to conduct initial, surveillance or recertification audits to the 9100, 9110 or 9120 standards. It is critical to the auditors and the aviation, space and defense supply chain that auditors do not delay in achieving authentication to the new series of standards.

OPMT Actions:

OPMT continues to monitor completion ratio of the training.

There are no plans for any changes to the curriculum or testing process at this time. The OPMT remains committed to ensure a robust and effective training program is maintained that will improve the competency level of the authenticated auditors in the ICOP scheme. IAQG-OPMT members recognize the efforts and greatly appreciate everybody’s support of this process.
