Discontinuation of IAQG Member Company Training Website

February 14, 2025 5:47 am / admin

The International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) would like to inform Member Companies of its decision regarding the IAQG Member Company Training website. Effective 31 March 2025, the availability of this website will be discontinued. Therefore, the website will cease to accept new user registrations starting 28 February 2025, and all users will lose access to the site, including its training materials, as of the discontinuation date.

During the period leading up to the discontinuation, no additional changes or updates will be made to the training materials currently available on the IAQG Member Company Training website.

IAQG acknowledges that this decision may inconvenience users and apologizes for any disruption it may cause.

Historically, the IAQG Member Company Training website has served as a resource for employees of IAQG Member Companies, providing access to IAQG-sanctioned online training materials. If Member Companies wish to continue offering employee training opportunities, they should contact Plexus International to discuss and arrange suitable alternatives.

Thank you for your understanding as we transition away from this platform.

NOTE: This announcement is only impacting the Member Company Training website, and does NOT affect the main IAQG Training website currently used to support the AATT and other third-party auditor qualification programs.

Training Provider Notice: Temporary Reinstatement of 9100:2016 / 9101:2016 AATT Program

August 15, 2023 1:14 am / admin

In August 2023, IAQG announced a change in the transition timeline for the 9104-1:2022 and 9101:2022 standards. The existing transition timeline as found in SR004 Rev. B has been suspended and will be replaced by a new globally coordinated timeline that aligns with OASIS v3.

IAQG will be releasing a supplemental rule that details an updated transition timeline as soon as possible. For now, please see the links below for further information:

IAQG ICOT Supplemental Rule 004 Rev. C:
https://go.iaqgtraining.com/icot-sr004

Revised 9104-1/9101 Transition Plan Frequently Asked Questions:
https://go.iaqgtraining.com/2023-transition-faq

To prevent new auditors from being qualified to standards to which they cannot yet audit, IAQG is delaying the launch of the updated AATT program until such time as the transition has begun (revised standards are launched and OASIS v3 updates are ready). Therefore, IAQG is temporarily reinstating the previous 9100:2016 AATT program (aligned with 9101:2016), which had previously been suspended as of 30 April 2023. Effective immediately, all eligible Training Providers may once again schedule 4-Day AATT courses through the IAQG Training Admin Site.

The deadline for completing retakes under the previous AATT program, previously set to 30 April 2024, has similarly been extended. We will announce a new deadline once we are able to determine the revised transition timeline for the new AATT program.

NOTE: The previous version of the AATT program may only be delivered at in-person, human-proctored events. We previously mentioned that the new AATT program would also allow specially qualified Training Providers to use Live Virtual delivery (e.g., Zoom, Teams, etc.) and that all exams will be able to be delivered virtually. This is still the plan, but the change will only accompany the new AATT program whenever it launches, and not in this reinstatement of the previous program.

Trainer/Evaluators who already attended an AATT 2023 Pilot/Trainer Qualification event will not need further requalification, besides the already-announced Trainer/Evaluator calibration activity related to Interview Evaluation scoring (that will occur close to program launch). IAQG has stated that the planned updates to the standards are very minor, but if there are any changes of consequence that impact the AATT compared to the pilot, we will notify all qualified trainer/evaluators. We will update all AATT 2023 materials, including the Trainer Guide and Slides, to reflect any changes in the revised standards.

For further information and updates, please visit our IAQG Training Support Site at https://help.iaqgtraining.com/.

Training Provider Notice: IAQG AATT 2023 Update

March 24, 2023 9:21 pm / admin

UPDATE (2023-08-17): Please visit the Revised 9104-1/9101 Transition Plan FAQ for updates related to the new AATT program and the temporary reinstatement of the existing program.

UPDATE (2023-06-15): We updated this notice to reflect changes to the planned AATT launch schedule. The Calibration Events for AATT Trainer/Evaluators and Training Provider Administrators that were originally scheduled for late-June 2023 will be rescheduled to a later date. In addition, the AATT 2023: 9100 Online Component launch will be rescheduled to a later date based on changes requested after the previous pilot classes and the result of additional planned pilot activity. We will provide additional updates as information is available. For any trainer/evaluators who were not able to attend the pilot classes in May, we are now running an additional pilot from 10 to 13 July; please contact Plexus LV Support if you are interested in attending.

Introduction

As noted in ICOT Supplemental Rule 004, IAQG is transitioning all AQMS auditors to align with the changes in 9104-1:2022 and 9101:2022. The current version of the 9100, 9110, and 9120 Aerospace Auditor Transition Training (AATT) will be suspended in all languages effective April 30, 2023. Please review the Training Provider Notice: Upcoming Temporary Suspension of the IAQG AATT Program for full details, including the impact of the suspension on AATT purchasing and scheduling and the retake process for existing AATT participants. As a reminder, all AATT classes currently scheduled from May 2023 onward will be cancelled on the IAQG Training site and will have to be rescheduled after the program relaunch.

The updated AATT 2023: 9100 Online Component is scheduled to be released in late-June 2023 later in 2023. The initial release is in English only with other IAQG-approved languages to be released separately based on standard publication and material translation timing. The Online Component is a prerequisite to attending the updated IAQG AATT 2023: 9100 instructor-led training course. The AATT 2023: 9110 and 9120 AATT programs will be released shortly after the AATT 2023: 9100 AATT. NOTE: We will be using the “AATT 2023” nomenclature to identify the newly-updated AATT training class and all related online components (including exams), instead of using the publication date of the underlying standards.

Requirements for AATT Trainer/Evaluators

All AATT Trainer/Evaluators must be approved through the requirements of IAQG ICOP Resolution #126, which states: “TPs offering IAQG Sanctioned AATT training shall conform to all of the organizational requirements established in 9104-003 and ensure that their instructors have successfully completed the IAQG sanctioned ASDE ‘train the trainer’ course and any other required IAQG sanctioned updates for this course.”

Current AATT Trainer/Evaluators

AATT Trainer/Evaluators who previously passed the ASDE course, and were qualified to deliver the AATT 9100:2016 Training Course, must complete the AATT 2023 Trainer/Evaluator Requalification Process, as follows:

  1. Successfully complete the 9104-1:2022 / 9101:2022 Delta Requirements Training and Examination Bundle.
  2. Complete the updated AATT 2023: 9100 Training Course. We scheduled two three English-language pilot training sessions in May 2023 and July 2023, with spaces reserved primarily for current AATT Trainers/Evaluators.
    • Training Date Options
      • Session 1: May 16-19 (8am-6pm US Central Daylight Savings Time (UTC-5)) – Virtual (Zoom)
      • Session 2: May 23-26 (8am-6pm Central European Summer Time (UTC+2) – Virtual (Zoom)
      • Session 3 (ADDED): July 10-13 (8am-6pm US Central Daylight Savings Time (UTC-5)) – Virtual (Zoom)
    • Registration Fee & Instructions:
      • $2,960 USD/person
      • To register, please have your Training Provider Administrator contact lvsupport@plexusintl.com.
      • The trainer/evaluator must have successfully completed the Delta Training and Examination prior to registering.
      • Two spaces will be initially reserved for each Training Provider at the event most appropriate to their region.
    • Current AATT Trainers/Evaluators will not be required to complete the AATT Online Prerequisites prior to attending the training but will be required to complete all classroom activities including the Interview and Online Final Examinations. While trainer/evaluators will not be required to achieve a certain score threshold, results of the evaluation will be provided as feedback.
  3. Attend an AATT 2023: Trainer/Evaluator Alignment session to familiarize yourself with the new training and evaluation materials. These sessions will be delivered virtually via Zoom.
    • Planned Training Options (UPDATE: This activity will be rescheduled to a later date. We will provide an update when new dates are chosen.)
      • June 29th 8am-10am CT (Europe)
      • June 29th 12pm-2pm CT (US)
      • June 29th 5pm-7pm CT (Asia)
      • June 30th 8am-10am CT (Europe)
      • June 30th 12pm-2pm CT (US)
      • June 30th 5pm-7pm CT (Asia)
    • We will share registration instructions at a later time.
    • NOTE: We will also run a calibration event for TP Admins during this week, as explained further below.
  4. Provide evidence of completion and received feedback to your Training Provider (TP). The TP is responsible for addressing any resulting feedback with the Trainer/Evaluator.
    • This process will be monitored by the Training Provider Approval Body (TPAB), including any corrective action taken by the TP resulting from the AATT Pilot Event and/or the Trainer/Evaluator Alignment session.

Any qualified Trainer/Evaluator who is not able to attend one of these two pilot training sessions will need to make special arrangements to complete the above qualification requirements (such as attending an AATT 2023: 9100 Training Class after the launch date) prior to delivering any AATT 2023: 9100 Training Course. The Training Provider Admin should contact lvsupport@plexusintl.com to make these arrangements.

NOTE: All trainer/evaluators will be required to sign new AATT Trainer/Evaluator agreements as part of this requalification process.

New AATT Trainer/Evaluators

The process for new AATT Trainer/Evaluators remains unchanged. Individuals interested in becoming an AATT Trainer/Evaluator must complete the new AATT Trainer/Evaluator Qualification Process which consists of:

  • Successful completion of the 4-day AATT 2023: 9100 Training Course.
  • Successful completion of the 5-day ASDE (v2023) “train-the-trainer” course. The ASDE course is currently being revised and is scheduled to launch in Q3 2023 later in 2023. For more information and to join the waitlist, please contact lvsupport@plexusintl.com.

Calibration for Training Provider Administrators

During the week of June 26-30, we will hold a calibration event for TP Admins to explain the changes to the program format, retake exams, roles/responsibilities of training providers, and more. These sessions will be delivered virtually via Zoom.

  • Planned Training Dates (UPDATE: This activity will be rescheduled to a later date. We will provide an update when new dates are chosen.)
    • June 27th TBD
    • June 28th TBD
  • We will share times and registration instructions at a later time.

For any Training Provider Admins who are not able to attend one of these sessions, we will make a recording available for later viewing.

NOTE: All Training Providers will be required to sign new Training Provider agreements to deliver the AATT 2023 program.

Note regarding virtual delivery of the AATT 2023: 9100 Training Course

The AATT 2023 program will add the option to deliver the AATT 2023: 9100 Training Course virtually (using online meeting tools such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams). Testing this delivery format will be part of the scope of the AATT pilot activities in May. All Training Providers interested in delivering the course in this format will be required to undergo an additional qualification process to ensure both the TP and the trainer/evaluators have the appropriate technology and competence to meet the needs of this program. We will provide more information about this additional qualification process in the near future.

9104-1:2022 / 9101:2022 Delta Final Examination Pass Threshold

February 21, 2023 10:45 pm / admin

Based on a thorough review of examination completion records since the launch of the 9104-1:2022 / 9101:2022 Delta Final Examination in English on 10 January 2023, the IAQG has determined that the pass threshold score for this examination will be 80%. Auditors who fail to achieve at least an 80% score on this exam will be required to purchase and complete the Delta Final Examination Retake. The retake may be purchased and completed multiple times, if necessary. The IAQG will continue to monitor auditor performance in this examination and may make further adjustments to examination questions and individual question scoring if necessary, but does not anticipate making any further changes to the pass threshold score. Any auditors with concerns about specific questions in the examination must use the “Log Issue” feature (accessible from the menu button in the top-right corner of the exam-taking interface) to submit their concerns for official review and consideration.

For those auditors who completed the examination since the launch on 10 January 2023, thank you for your patience. Your examinations are now queued for processing and will be released within the next two weeks. You will receive an email notification with your results once processing is complete. After receiving this notification, those who passed on their first attempt will be able to access their certificate on the IAQG Training Dashboard, and those who need to purchase retakes will be able to do so from the IAQG Training Store. Thank you again for your understanding as we conducted this careful review of the exam questions and scoring.

For all auditors completing examinations going forward, results in English will now typically be released within two weeks of exam completion. When launching additional languages for this program, we may initially hold the result in those languages to verify translation accuracy and in-language auditor exam performance. Please view this support article for more information.

Training Provider Notice: Upcoming Temporary Suspension of the IAQG AATT Program

January 10, 2023 3:00 pm / admin

IMPORTANT UPDATE (2023-08-17): Please visit the Revised 9104-1/9101 Transition Plan FAQ for updates related to the new AATT program and the temporary reinstatement of the existing program. The information in this news post is no longer applicable.

Update (2023-06-15): We updated this notice reflect that the expected launch date of the updated AATT program is now later in 2023. This change does not impact the other dates mentioned in this notice. We will provide further updates as information is available.

As noted in ICOT Supplemental Rule 004, IAQG is transitioning all AQMS auditors to be aligned to the changes in 9104-1:2022 and 9101:2022. The current version of the 9100:2016 Aerospace Auditor Transition Training (AATT) will be suspended in all languages effective April 30, 2023. The updated course will be launched in English shortly after this suspension (expected late-Q2 later in 2023), with other languages to follow based on standard publication and material translation timing.

Please review the points below for additional details about this transition:

Trainer/Evaluator Qualification Process
There will be a qualification process for existing AATT trainer/evaluators to align to the updated materials. As a first step, all trainer/evaluators must successfully complete the 9104-1:2022 / 9101:2022 Delta Training and Examination Bundle. This training is now available for purchase in English on the IAQG Training website, with other languages to follow based on standard publication timing. All trainer/evaluators are encouraged to complete this training as soon as possible once available in their language. Details on further qualification steps will be provided in the months to come.

9104-1:2022 / 9101:2022 Delta Training Product Page:
https://go.iaqgtraining.com/2022-auditor-delta

Suspension of AATT Purchasing & Scheduling
Effective April 20, 2023, it will no longer be possible for prospective auditors to purchase 9100:2016, 9110:2016, and 9120:2016 Online Training and Examination products on the IAQG Training website, except for retakes. Additionally, it will not be possible for Training Providers to schedule any new 4-day 9100 AATT sessions on the IAQG Training Admin Site until the re-launch occurs in each language. If you already have AATT classes scheduled from May 2023 onward, please cancel them on the IAQG Training website. (You do not need to cancel retake sessions.) Circumstances permitting, these future dates could be re-added once the new AATT products are available for purchase in the applicable language.

Retake Process for existing AATT participants
Prospective auditors currently in the Retake Examination process, or who complete the AATT class between now and the suspension date, will have approximately one (1) year to complete any necessary examinations. It will not be possible to complete examinations or retakes for the current AATT programs after April 30, 2024. Prospective auditors who successfully complete retake examinations under the old AATT process will still be required to successfully complete the 9104-1:2022 / 9101:2022 Delta Training and Examination to conduct audits to the new standards. All auditors must complete this transition with 12 months of the Delta training being made available. Prospective auditors who have not successfully completed the associated course requirements by the deadline, or who exceed the maximum number of permitted retakes, will be required to follow the revised training process as a new participant.

For further updates about the 9104-1:2022 / 9101:2022 Delta program rollout and the upcoming updates to the AATT, please visit our IAQG Training Support Site at https://help.iaqgtraining.com/.

Release of the 9104-1:2022 / 9101:2022 Delta Training Program

January 10, 2023 3:00 pm / admin

IMPORTANT UPDATE (2023-08-17): This program has been suspended by IAQG ICOT to align the transition timeline. Please visit the Revised 9104-1/9101 Transition Plan FAQ for more information.

Attention Auditors:

Due to the recent release of the 9104-1:2022 and 9101:2022 standards in English, IAQG ICOT is announcing the immediate availability of the online “9104-1:2022 / 9101:2022 Delta Requirements Training and Examination Bundle.” This training package is mandatory for all existing AQMS auditors. It must be completed prior to performing any audits to the 9104-1:2022 and 9101:2022 standards, and within 12 months of the training release date in the applicable IAQG-supported language. (For auditors completing the training in English, this deadline is January 10, 2024.) Additional languages will be made available in the future as Publication Bodies release translations of the underlying standards.

Only auditors who successfully completed either the 9100:2016 Delta Training Program OR the 9100:2016 AATT program (since its release in October 2017) can purchase and complete the 2022 delta training at this time. If you are in process or have not yet passed the 9100:2016 AATT examinations, you must do so before taking the 9104-1:2022 / 9101:2022 Delta training. The current AATT program will be temporarily suspended on April 30, 2023. All examinations and retakes under the current AATT program, including 9100, 9110, and 9120, must be completed by April 30, 2024.

The delta training bundle is $595 USD and includes an online Delta Requirements Training module, approximately four hours in length, covering all the changes and revisions in 9104-1:2022 and 9101:2022. Auditors must then complete a one-hour 30-question final examination. Upon passing this examination, auditors will receive a Certificate of Successful Completion that satisfies the update training requirements. Auditors who fail to receive a passing score must purchase and complete an online retake examination.

To enroll in the delta training, login to your account at iaqgtraining.com and purchase the “9104-1:2022 / 9101:2022 Delta Requirements Training and Examination Bundle” from the store. You must use the same account previously used to complete the 9100:2016 Delta Training program or AATT. If you have trouble accessing your account, please visit our Support Article at https://go.iaqgtraining.com/account-help.

Please note: the language on your AATT account must match the language(s) currently available for this program (English). Additional languages will be added as soon as translations of both the standard and this training/examination are complete.

Languages available now: English
Languages planned to be available later: Chinese (Simplified), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish.

It is possible to switch the language of your online training/examination and complete the program in another language, rather than waiting for the program to launch in your default account language. However, we encourage you to wait until your preferred language is available before attempting the training to ensure you properly understand the requirements and can pass the final examination.  If you request to change your language to English, but your preferred language will be available later, you will NOT be eligible for any accommodations for additional examination time. To request a language change, you may contact our Support Team.

This bundle’s final examination is proctored using Remote Proctor technology, which captures your computer’s webcam and microphone while you take the examination. To use this feature, you need a desktop computer, laptop, or supported tablet device that meet the criteria found on the 9104-1:2022 / 9101:2022 Delta Requirements Training and Examination Bundle page on iaqgtraining.com (linked below).

Upon completion of the final examination (or any retake examination) your Remote Proctor video and audio footage will be subject to review by authorized proctor personnel to verify compliance with all examination condition rules and guidelines. This review process may take up to two weeks. Assuming no issues were found in the review process, your results will be released in the order received, and you will be notified by email once available.

During the initial release of this examination in any given language, results will be held for an additional initial period of three to four weeks to verify aggregate auditor performance and make any needed adjustments to the questions and scoring prior to the announcement of results.

Expiration of IAQG Sanctioned 9100:2016 Series Update Training

February 28, 2019 12:00 am / admin

The IAQG-sanctioned 9100:2016 Series Update Training (9100/9110/9120) will be retired as of September 14, 2021. These delta trainings allow already-authenticated auditors to transition to the newest revision of the standard without having to re-take the respective full AATT training.

Who is impacted?
Auditors authenticated to 9100:2009, 9110:2012, and 9120:2009 prior to September 15th, 2018 and who continue to hold valid authentication. While these auditors can no longer conduct third-party audits, they can conduct qualifying second-party audits to the new standard, and these audits can be used for re-authentication.

Why this timing?
It was possible to receive authentication to the 9100:2009, 9110:2012, and 9120:2009 standards up to September 14, 2018. Auditors in this situation would continue to hold valid authentication with the potential to conduct qualifying audits, so this transition mechanism needs to remain available through the expiration of their authentication.

What action is needed?
Impacted auditors who wish to re-authenticate to the 2016-series standards using this IAQG-sanctioned transition process must purchase and successfully complete the relevant 9100:2016 Series Update Training programs (including any required retakes) prior to the retirement date.

What happens if needed action is not taken?
Impacted auditors who fail to successfully complete the transition process prior to the retirement date but wish to conduct audits to the 2016-series standards (or potential future revisions) will have to follow the same qualification process as new auditor candidates (see 9104/3).
