- Remind auditors to notify and provide sufficient information to their respective Auditor Authentication Body to enable their status to be upgraded in OASIS; and
- Remind auditors of the criticality of having their auditor status updated in OASIS prior to June 15, 2017;

CURRENT TRAINING STATUS:
With the launch of the 9110:2016 training modules in French, German, Italian and Spanish on March 22, 2017; all training, in all agreed languages are now available.
The following summarizes the completion status for 9100:2016; 9110:2016 and 9120:2016 as of March 19, 2017.
Program | Total Purchases | Successful Completions (Certificates Issued) |
9100:2016 | 1068 | 596 |
9110:2016 | 75 | 25 |
9120:2016 | 180 | 61 |
The OPMT continues to monitor the above ratio of Total Purchases to Successful Completions in order to gage training progress, effectiveness and auditor resources. Auditors are encouraged to be diligent in their efforts to complete this training as soon as possible.
It is recommended that auditors that have successfully completed the AATT course and are interested in taking the training modules reference the IAQG OASIS email that was sent out on January 13, 2017 for early lessons learned and key take-a-ways that may assist in preparing for these courses. Auditors may access the IAQG Training site at https://www.iaqgtraining.com/store/offers-delta for information on purchasing these courses.
UPGRADING AUDITOR AUTHENTICATION:
Once the auditor has successfully completed the 9100:2016, 9110:2016 or the 9120:2016 module(s) it is critical that he/she provides evidence of successful completion of the required sanctioned transition training to the Auditor Authentication Body (AAB) responsible for their existing authentication, in accordance with SR-003 paragraph 6b. This will allow the AAB to upgrade the auditor’s status in OASIS and qualify the Auditor to complete audits to the updated standard(s).
NOTE: If you already passed the program and sent this evidence to your AAB, no further action is required.
CRITICAL DATE APPROACHING – JUNE 15, 2017:
In accordance with SR-003, no initial, surveillance or recertification audits shall be started to the previous versions of the AQMS standards after June 15, 2017. Auditors that have not been authenticated to the new standard by the June 15 date will no longer be qualified to conduct initial, surveillance or recertification audits to the 9100, 9110 or 9120 standards. It is critical to the auditors and the aviation, space and defense supply chain that auditors do not delay in achieving authentication to the new series of standards.
OPMT Actions:
OPMT continues to monitor completion ratio of the training.
There are no plans for any changes to the curriculum or testing process at this time. The OPMT remains committed to ensure a robust and effective training program is maintained that will improve the competency level of the authenticated auditors in the ICOP scheme. IAQG-OPMT members recognize the efforts and greatly appreciate everybody’s support of this process.
