Based on continued analysis of auditor assessment performance in the IAQG-sanctioned 9100:2016 Online Update Component, and in an effort to support the transition process, IAQG OPMT is making the following adjustments to the program effective immediately:
ISO 9001:2015 Pre-Assessment:
- Available time in Knowledge section increases from 75 minutes to 90 minutes
- No adjustment to Application section timing (45 minutes) or pass score threshold (80%)
9100:2016 Forms and Audit Reporting Assessment:
- Available time increases from 2 hours to 2 hours and 15 minutes
- Pass score threshold lowers from 75% to 73%
Auditors who have not yet started their assessments or related retakes will see the above adjustments immediately. If an assessment attempt is already in progress, the assessment must be completed under the existing criteria and adjustments will be made retroactively per the schedule below. Please note that there may be some discrepancies in the training text while translations are corrected to reflect the new criteria.
Auditors who completed the above assessments since the initial launch of the program on 30 November 2016 may be eligible to receive retroactive adjustments, per the following criteria:
ISO 9001:2015 Pre-Assessment:
- Due to the timing adjustment, auditors who received a score between 42/60 and 48/60 in the Knowledge section in one or more failed attempts will receive a refund for one retake attempt. If another retake is required but has not yet been purchased, an additional retake will be provided at no additional charge instead of a refund. (These retakes will still be subject to the mandatory wait period between attempts.)
9100:2016 Forms and Audit Reporting Assessment:
- Due to the timing adjustment, auditors who received a final score of either 70%, 71%, or 72% on one or more attempts will receive a refund for one retake attempt. If another retake is required but has not yet been purchased, an additional retake will be provided at no additional charge instead of a refund. (These retakes will still be subject to the mandatory wait period between attempts.)
- Due to the pass score threshold adjustment, auditors who received a final score of either 73% or 74% on one or more attempts will be considered to have passed the 9100:2016 Forms and Audit Reporting Assessment and will receive a certificate of successful completion. In addition, refunds will be provided for any purchased retakes after the auditor received the 73% or 74% score.
Please note that auditors may be eligible to receive multiple adjustments per the above criteria. Eligible auditors will be contacted shortly and adjustments will take place over the next five business days. If you believe you are eligible for retroactive adjustments based on the above criteria and have not been contacted by 20 January 2017, please send an email to customersupport@iaqgtraining.com.
We apologize for any inconvenience the above adjustments caused. The goal of the OPMT is to provide an effective and convenient approach for currently authenticated auditors to complete the required training while also ensuring effective audit reporting. We continue to monitor the results and take actions to ensure that our goals and the goals of the various interested parties are achieved as effectively and efficiently as possible.
